The 13th of September--really short

Around 3 AM I heard an alarm that woke me up.  I wasn't sure what it was.  In my half asleep stupor I thought it might have been a smoke detector that was going off so I got out of bed and wandered the house to assure myself that there was no fire-even though the alarm had stopped shortly after it had begun.  As I climbed back into bed the alarm went off again, from outside.  I still have no idea where the sound was really coming from.  Since I had a very difficult time falling asleep and am now exhausted that is about it for today.

Today my happy is getting to go outside for science class.  Even as an adult, that is better than inside when the weather is gorgeous.
