September 17th

This morning I enjoyed breakfast outside on the front porch of my friend's house.  The acorns falling from a nearby tree reminded me of a story I started to write last year.  Later this week I plan to carve out some time to work on it.  I have put it on my calendar, now to not let anything else take precedence.

There is an audio book that I purchased some time ago that I keep starting and not finishing.  It is about procrastination.  It is possible that I finished it and just don't remember the whole thing.  I am finding it very hard to tune into this book.  My mind just keeps going elsewhere.  Perhaps it is one that I should listen to while I am at home and not driving.  There are notes that I should be taking and exercises I should be doing.  How sad is my life that I am procrastinating over a book about procrastination?

The fact that I have been able to Blog almost every night for the last year and a half+ is speaking volumes to me for some reason--in a good way.  Well this Blog is just everywhere.  Like a Rambin' Rose.  So before I set off on some other tangent... This evening while my laundry was washing I went for a walk around the city.  The eagle at the top of the capitol is my happy for today.  It made me think of this song from the musical 1776.
