As I turned and headed south the glow rose
It went from red orange to orange red
Then to orange, pale orange and finally yellow as I got to work.
I wish I could have written that into a poem, but work...
And after work my other job.
When I got home Gideon was being put to bed. I got a big hug before he went up and I started putting my things away. A few minutes later my daughter calls me to come up because Gideon wants to say goodnight. He had been crying because he missed me. We talked for a bit about jobs and school and then he settled and we went downstairs so he could fall asleep upstairs. Tomorrow he and I are going to find the time to take a walk or something.
That sun that shone so brilliant in the sky for me this morning is today's happy.
The camera that doesn't do it justice, is not (today's happy).
Your first four lines are most definitely poetry, as is. :)
