August 3rd- Pennsic day 2-- edited with pictures

I am being bad by sitting by the fire at a medieval event and using my phone.   My Blog will get written and the phone will go off.   If anyone asks,  I will shut it off.  Last night I sat around the fire taking and drinking with people.   That seems to be what will happen tonight as well.

Today I did a bunch of nothing and a little bit of setting up the tent.   I spent part of the morning trying to take care of bank and bill things that I didn't have the opportunity to do prior to leaving.  It was warm enough today that sitting around and melting was a thing.

I did get out and wander around and visit with people and look at things later in the day.   There is one gentle I hadn't seen in 2 years.   It was nice to see him and I hope to get to visit with him more.  I visited with a few others today too before coming back to camp and sitting by the fire.

My phone did get turned off when the conversation turned to me and  Commedia dell'arte.  There is interest by a few of us to start a group and learn more about this to eventually put together a small performance.  I look forward to seeing what happens.

My happy for today is catching up with old friends.
