July the 8th

There are people leaving early because the sky is dripping... I will be remaining in my modern tent at this event of the middle ages.   This morning I remained at my brother's home until late morning, stopped at the store for cookies and sun block and made my way to the event.   It has been threatening rain all day but the sky has just decided to open up as we prepare for court.

My daughter and I spent a good part of the day waiting in line to see a friend on Vigil.  During this time of waiting, we got to talk with people I haven't been with for a while.  This middle ages that I play is mostly for community now, and service.   It is a wonderful thing and is today's happy.
