Last year when I started this blog it was just for a happy of the day. This year was supposed to include that and my prepping to hike the AT. Then I was injured at work and the AT will wait until next spring. This blog has become more of a short journal that is still containing a happy thing every day (mostly) and I am trying to include a picture as well. As my hand improves I hope to write more again. Although I have been doing stretches every day, I am not sure I have been doing enough of them. I am not supposed to continue if the tingling starts and until a few days ago it was pretty consistent and persistent. Today the Occupational Therapist told me I should try sleeping without the splint on. My skin will be thankful. :)
Also today my friend and I did a couple of Exchequer errands together. We paid a bill and checked out storage units for all the stuff the Barony has. After lunch I went to work training someone for a little bit. I practiced driving for more than a few seconds using my injured arm and it takes longer to start tingling than it used to, but still does. Turning the key on is still a problem too. Better, but not there yet.
A package arrived today from my cousin with the homeopathic drug she thinks will help. I have done minor research so far. It is called Rhus Toxin and is derived from Poison Ivy. It should relieve symptoms such as pain with arthritis, sciatica, and skin problems. I am considering trying it.
Happiness today brought to you by healing and the beauty in clouds.
