As I sat down to write this evening a steady pitter-patter began outside my window. 30 minutes later, after a few distractions, it is pouring out. Today for work I was supposed to retrain someone. They had a family emergency and so I did the job instead. There was no scanning involved and it was a job I could mostly do with my left hand, but my right bothered me the whole time. The whole day actually. When I got home I rested it and massaged it and then finally remembered to ice it. I am hopeful that it will feel a little better tomorrow when I see the occupational therapist. Driving has started bothering my knee already so I need to get back into the habit of exercising and stretching out my legs. I stopped partially because of the need to use my hands and arms for some of the stretches.
Okay, enough complaining... My gosh. Back to the rain. It is like horses stampeding, through puddles... I am hopeful that it will wash my car clean.
After my chiropractor visit and before work I stopped by the post office and got the mail and by my house to take out the trash. There were 2 workman's comp checks in the mail. One full one and one for just a day from last week when I went back to work. I didn't realize that I still had a full week check and that is today's
happy. That and the pouring rain... it just got louder and harder. It is like a waterfall off the roof.
The pictures are rather dreary looking. It didn't seem so dreary during the day, but I guess it was.
