February 3rd-Gideon turns 5

Five years ago I became a grandmother.  It ranks in the top 3 days of my life, the other days being the births of my 2 children.  I visited tonight and watched while he danced with the robot toy from his Nana and helped him put together the Kaleidoscope from his Aunt Des and listen to the thunder roar with the Thunder making instrument that my son got him.  Sunday there will be a party and I hope to have his gifts together for him by then.  I forgot to bring what I had today because of work and really want to add to it.

I got a clean bill of health from my Gynecologist today (sorry if that is TMI) and I have a follow up with my primary care next week.  The dental stuff is almost done.  Now I just need new glasses and a spare pair for the hike.  That will take care of medical stuff as best I can I think.

Gideon is my number one happy for today.   Having my doctor tell me that I seem much more like myself today than when she saw me a few weeks ago is number 2.  :)
