Last night while getting ready for bed the water pump for my house broke. So I spent the first part of the day doing what I had planned and helping out with an end of year report and the rest of the day doing things in the cellar and talking with people and generally trying to find a way to fix it, cheap. It isn't fixed, well, replaced because Home Depot doesn't carry the parts. Tomorrow more people will be looking at it while I go to work. The lesson here is to never own a home.... Okay, not really, the lesson is to learn how to maintain your home and if you can't do it yourself, be prepared to pay someone to for it for you. For now, I just want things working and to get the house ready to sell. I want it to all happen for me magically. ;) Haha! Well, it will be a lot of work, but it will get done. It has to.

happy for today is the generosity of friends and family. I can't say enough about how grateful I am and at the same time I have not the right words to express them. 💖
While driving home today I passed a lake that is in the broken up part of the melting ice phase.
I pulled over to take pictures.
The day was very windy and there are white caps on the water.
All the ice was pushed towards the shore where I parked.
