November 2nd

The other day I officially became a regional exchequer for the SCA groups in NH, VT and ME.  So I now have another email address to remember to check.  That makes 6 or 7 I think...  Any how the newest account has 562 unread emails.  😲 This will be a busy weekend for me.  We were hoping to go to an SCA event on Saturday but my daughter wasn't feeling well today so that may change.  I also have a bunch of reading to do this weekend for my paraeducator job.

With this new para job I am totally rethinking how to hike the AT next year.  The way things are headed it is looking more like I will end up section hiking instead of doing it all at once.  That may change but it is what I feel I need to plan for.  I need to look at a map, but I am thinking about starting fairly close to home this summer and work my way south.  

 

I want to stay up and write but my alarm is going to go off in 4.5 hours so I am going to sleep instead.  My happy for today is the moon.  I got out of one of my jobs around 7 tonight and the moon just had some light clouds that it illuminated.

About 40 minutes north and 3 ish hours later there was a thick low lying fog.  The moon seemed easier to see than some of the lights in the parking lot.  Thankfully the fog was very local to where I was and it was gone within 5 minutes on the highway driving home.
